The American president Donald Trump has, as expected, his veto provided against a resolution to U.S. aid to the Saudi coalition in Yemen to stop.
“This resolution is an unnecessary and dangerous attempt to use my constitutional powers to weaken and the lives of American citizens in danger”, said Trump in a statement.
The resolution, at the beginning of this month in the two chambers of the U.s. Congress was approved, came in the aftermath of the murder last year of the dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi, the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.
That murder did internationally a lot of dust raised, and Turkey, stated that the order for the murder of Khashoggi, who is a regular critical uitliet about the Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman, ‘from the highest echelons of the Saudi government came’. The body of the journalist was never found.
