Varese and Jean Salumu there Wednesday failed to qualify for the final of the FIBA Europe Cup basketball. The Italian team lost the second leg against the German Würzburg with 89-86.
The heenduel went up last week even though the lost 66-89. In the final wait for Würzburg a duel with the Italian Sassari, or the Israeli Hapoel Holon. The Italians won the heenduel in Israel with 89-94. The second leg is later Wednesday on the program.
Jean Salumu played for the visitors in 24 minutes. Therein, he came to six points, one rebound and one assist.
