Heavy crash during the final training session GP of China, Bottas is the fastest

During the last training session for the GP of China has Valtteri Bottas in his Mercedes to the fastest time ridden. The session was, however, mainly characterized by a heavy crash of Toro Rosso driver Alex Albon.

It was at the end of the session that Albon with his Toro Rosso car in the last turn of the circuit got into trouble and against the bandenmuur crashed. His F1 car, was to scrap is reduced. The 23-year-old Albon seemed to be unharmed but was taken to the medical centre at the circuit disposed for a check-up.

By the crash the session was interrupted and not resumed. It is therefore difficult to estimate which team and which rider actually is the fastest. Several riders were at the time of the crash, after all, engaged in a quick round or should they go to start.

At 8 am Belgian time, the qualification for the GP of China from the start.
