FIFA president Gianni Infantino has Saturday called for the competitions where there is racism to cease. He advises the affiliated unions, organizations of the national leagues and clubs to the requirements of the wereldvoetbalbond to follow.
“We have at our tournaments the so-called ‘driestapsprocedure introduced. It offers the referee the ability to have a competition even to stop to discrimination”, writes Infantino, who in recent weeks with many cases of racism in football was facing.
“We call on all associations, leagues and clubs to the same procedure. We use a zerotoleranceaanpak of racism in football. We will be hard sanctions against such behavior. Racism has no place in football, just as in the society.”
