The creators of The Crown were searching for an actress to play the role of Lady Di to interpret, and have found her. There is interestingly enough, not chosen for a well-known name, be it for newcomer Emma Corrin. “Emma is a great talent that we immediately knew how to tackle when they audition done for the role of Diana Spencer”, said inventor Peter Morgan about Corrin.
