Diego Costa has its last match of the season already played. The Spanish football federation wants the striker from Atlético Madrid for a whopping eight matches suspended after his outburst of anger towards a referee in the lost uitduel with FC Barcelona (2-0) last Saturday.
Costa was already in the 28th minute, a red card in the Nou Camp, after he referee Jesús Gil Manzano had yelled at him when his arm was caught. The Spanish international will have four duels suspension for his scheldkanonnade – in which he is the mother of Manzano would have been offended – and four matches for the physical extend of the arbitrator.
Atlético can still appeal against the settlement proposal. If the People still agree, it is the season for the thirty year Costa is over. There are only seven rounds on the program in La Liga.
