Ashleigh Barty sticks out of the tournament in Miami on bag

The Australian Ashleigh Barty (WTA 11) Saturday in the WTA tournament of Miami (hard/9.035.428 dollar) to its list of achievements added, her most important title so far. The 22-year-old Barty won in the final in two sets of the Czech Karolina Pliskova (WTA 7): 7-6 (7/1) 6-3 after one hour and 40 minutes.

For Barty, it is the fourth WTA title. In 2017 she won in Kuala Lumpur her first WTA tournament. Last year she was the best in Nottingham and Zhuhai.

Monday dives Barty as a number 9 for the first time in her career in the top 10 of the WTA rankings.
