The Russian authorities have the prominent American investor, Michael Calvey picked up.
Calvey is a founder of the investment firm Baring Vostok Capital Partners, and together with five others were arrested on suspicion of large-scale fraud, report state media.
According to Russian messages framing the arrests in a dispute between the company and the bank, Vostochny Express, in which Baring Vostok a controlling interest of 52.5%.
On the allegations that Calvey and the others be imputed, are reportedly prison sentences to a maximum of ten years. The court in Moscow would Friday to decide whether Calvey in custody.
