Leon the Ball is emotional by the tribute that he Monday evening around the match Jong FC Utrecht-Go Ahead Eagles got in the Galgenwaard Stadium. The ex-striker performed the kick-off and received a cheque handed over.
The 27-year-old, The Bullet hit last summer badly injured in a car accident on the island of Malta and had his career end. Jong FC Utrecht-Go Ahead was the duel between two of his old clubs.
“It was a topavond. There were all players that I have played on, family, friends and supporters of Go Ahead and FC Utrecht. For me, it was very successful,” says The Ball is in front of the camera of FOX Sports.
