BeNe Ladies Tour, again a mix of stages in Belgium and the Netherlands

From Thursday 18 July to Sunday 21 July, the sixth edition of the BeNe Ladies Tour (W. E. 2.1). It will kick off with a prologue in the Dutch city of Utrecht. The day after it is the of the Belgian Essen to the Netherlands Roosdaal. On Saturday, July 20 follows a diptych with a short ride in line of Lock to Watervliet and in the afternoon an individual time trial in the same Watervliet. Closed on the Belgian national holiday, with a stage in Zelzate.

“For the sixth edition we have again managed to make a step to cross. We are definitely happy that we have the timetable over several regions in Belgium and the Netherlands have been able to expand. This shows that the course of our four day even more varied than the previous years”, says organiser Geert Stevens.

“The growing popularity of the vrouwenwielrennen can only benefit. In the meantime, the interest of the teams were once again very large. More than 30 teams from around the world showed interest to take part. This number will be in the coming weeks to increase even more. In a later phase, the participating teams announced,” concludes Stevens.

Last year went out of the race to Marianne Vos. The Dutch was in 2017 and all the best in this Belgian-Dutch stage race. Jolien D’hoore was the strongest in 2015 and 2016, while the Swedish Emma Johansson, the first edition on her account brought.

Saturday 20 July: Ride A Sluis (Ned)-Watervliet (Bel), Trip B individual time trial Watervliet (Bel)

Sunday 21 July: Zelzate (Bel)-Zelzate (Bel)
