Pukkelpop has Monday as the first headliners announced. On Saturday August 17, drops Tame Impala off to the festival grounds, the day it is the turn of Twenty One Pilots.
Tame Impala was already two times before at Pukkelpop in 2010 and in 2015. ‘Tame Impala is such a typical Pukkelpopband that through the years the festival has grown along with the organization. In 2010, they stood for the first time with us, ” says festival organiser Chokri Mahassine. “Five years later, they played again at the Marquee then burst out at the seams. Now they are ready for that headlinerspot.’
Also the arrival of Twenty One Pilots on Sunday 18 August, it was officially confirmed. Twenty One Pilots were, for the first time at Pukkelpop in 2013, and broke in 2015 due to the public at large with ‘Ride’ and ‘Stressed Out’. Pukkelpop 2019 will take place from Thursday 15 August to Sunday 18 August. It is the thirty-fourth edition, and the twenty-eighth edition strikes in Kiewit.
