Roger Federer took on Friday in Geneva, with the presentation of the third edition of the Laver Cup (september 20-22), extended the time ahead to his goals later in 2019. Little surprising is Wimbledon the biggest goal again. The Swiss went there last year in the quarter-finals in London, but won Wimbledon in previous years, eight times.
“Without a doubt, Wimbledon is my greatest goal in 2019”, explained the twintigvoudig grandslamwinnaar. “Furthermore there is also Dubai (February 25-march), Indian Wells (7-17 march) and Miami (20-31 march) high on the list. I would like to play well in all three tournaments, so launched to begin with (perhaps) the gravelseizoen and especially Wimbledon.
