The Brussels museum Kanal closes in June the doors for the renovation market. Only in 2023 will the museum open again. The total cost is estimated at 210 million euros, writes L’echo.
Kanal Pompidou Centre opened last year in may, the doors for a ‘voorproefjaar’. The Brussels government is not plan which costs to carry. The Region is counting on financial assistance from the federal government of 75 million, spread over five years. That money will be out of the Beliris fund, the investment fund for Brussels. Until today there is still no agreement on that grant. How the money from the investment fund used can and will be, until the end of 2019 to decide.
