Boasson Hagen picks up first win of the season in Valencia, Teuns handsome fourth

Boasson Hagen has the openingstijdrit of the Tour of Valencia won. The Noor of Team Dimension Data was in the chronorit of a thick ten kilometers, five seconds faster than the Spaniard Ion Izagirre. Our fellow countryman Dylan Teuns was with a handsome fourth place, the best Belgian.

The 70th edition of the five-day Tour of Valencia began with an individual time trial over 10.2 km in Orihuela, which ends with a little climb of 600m to 9%.
