Goffin hits Serb Krajinovic into eighth finals ATP Montpellier

David Goffin (ATP 21) in the second round of the ATP tournament in Montpellier france (hard/524.340 euro) against the Serb, Filip Krajinovic (ATP 72). Who won Tuesday with a 7-6 (9/7), 6-4 to French qualifier Nicolas Mahut (ATP 195).

Goffin did as the second seed not to play in the opening round.

It is the second mutual duel between the 28-year-old Goffin, and the 26-year-old Krajinovic. The Belgian won the two previous meetings in 2015, at Roland Garros and a year earlier in Scheveningen (both on clay).

Steve Darcis (ATP 311), the second Belgian on the main table, lost Tuesday in the first round with a 6-1, 6-2 by French qualifier Antoine Hong (ATP 150).

Goffin and Darcis in the Open Sud de France is also a duo in the doubles. Later today, take them in the first round the Pole Marcin Matkowski and Austrian Philipp Oswald.
