Mercenary Schürrle leaves no doubt about his own ambitions at Fulham: “degradation, I’m gone again”

If Fulham at the end of the season and the Premier League get relegated, will André Schürrle back to Borussia Dortmund.

The 28-year-old German is Dortmund for one and a half year (to June 2020) lent to the team by Claudio Ranieri. But in that contract is a clause allowing Schürrle to a degradation not having to bags. “My uitleenbeurt, ending with a demotion. In that case, my contract with Dortmund is re-activated,” explained Schürrle Monday in Kicker.

Fulham is after 25 days on the penultimate place in the Premier League, seven points of conservation. The chance of relegation is a real possibility.

Schürrle, who is in London on the side of Denis Odoi plays football, hit this season, already six strikes in the competition. The German, who in the world cup final of 2014 the assist gave matchwinnaar Mario Götze, says no regret of the transfer. “Of course it is not my ambition to be in England against the relegation fight, given my qualities and the successes that I have already achieved. But I would still make the same decisions because I know that this is good for me. It is important that I regularly play to come.”
