Honorary Magritte for animatiefilmmaker Raoul Servais

The Belgian filmmaker Raoul Servais, this evening an honorary Magritte for his entire career, during the ninth ceremony of the Magritte awards, the most important French-language film awards.

Raoul Servais, meanwhile, 90 years, made a reputation in both at home and abroad. He won the first Golden Palm ever for Belgium in Cannes, in Venice, the Golden Lion, and he is the inventor of the filmtechiek of the Servaisgrafie.
