WTA St Petersburg – Dutch Kiki Bertens takes the first finaleticket

The Dutch Kiki Bertens (WTA 8), has placed first for the finals of the WTA-tournament in the Russsische Saint-Petersburg, russia (hard/823.000 dollar).

In the semi-finals drew the second seed in two sets with a 7-6 (7/5) 6-2 against the White-Russian fourth seed Aryna Sabalenka (WTA 10), in the second round Alison Van Uytvanck (WTA 52) left off. Bertens was in that stage too strong for Ysaline Bonaventure (WTA 148).

Bertens will find in the final the winner of the duel between the Croatian eighth seed Donna Vekic (WTA 30) and the Russian Vera Zvonareva (WTA 97), who received a wildcard. The Dutch state for the tenth time in the final of a WTA tournament and is aiming for an eighth title. (belga)
