Nicolas Mahut and Pierre-Hugues Herbert have Sunday the doubles of the Australian Open on their name. The French duo, that is now in each of the grandslams victory, knocked in Melbourne in the final the Fin Henri Kontinen and the Australian John Peers in two sets: 6-4 and 7-6 (7/1). The party lasted 1 hour and 40 minutes.
Mahut and Herbert, are the eighth pair of the quartet perfectly. In the past, they pulled even at the U.S. Open (2015), Wimbledon (2016) and Roland Garros (2018) at the longest end.
Earlier this year captured Herbert at the side of David Goffin the dubbelwinst at the tournament of Doha.
