Explosion destroyed a house in The Hague, nine wounded

In The Hague Sunday, a house collapsed, possibly as a result of a gas explosion. Three people are under the rubble away and taken to the hospital. In total, there are certainly nine wounded. At least one person would still be under the rubble.

The images of the property in the Jan van de Heijdenstraat in The Hague show a completely ruined facade. Only the roof is still upright, the three floors beneath it collapsed. ‘We are aware that there are still more people under the rubble”, says a spokesperson of the regional fire to the NRC.

Preliminary know the fire brigade have not yet how many people were involved in the incident. ‘As long as we are not numbers, we go by searching’, promises to be the spokesperson. The searches are complicated because other parts of the townhouse will be unstable and the neighboring houses also damaged.
