North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has asked to prepare for his second summit with the American president Donald Trump. That would be next month, reporting the North Korean state media KCNA Thursday.
Kim showed himself very satisfied after he received a personal letter received from Trump and praised the “unusual determination” of the American president, to re-a meeting to organize around the denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula.
Trump said Saturday that the meeting probably at the end of February will take place. The host country was selected, an announcement about that will follow later. Vietnam is mentioned as a possible location.
Kim and Trump met each other for the first time during a historic summit in Singapore, where Kim committed for a full denuclearisation. There were, however, no concrete commitments are agreed about the way in which that will happen, and also not about what the U.S. exchange offer. According to recent posts would since little concrete progress be made.
Kim said, according to KCNA added that he ” believes in the positive way of thinking and of Trump’ and that he ‘patiently and with confidence, will wait, as we together with the U.S. one step closer to our goal.”
