The Japanese Masazo Nonaka, the oldest man in the world, is Sunday, unexpectedly died. He was 113 years.
Masazo Nonaka was born on 25 July 1905 in the town of Ashoro – died Sunday morning at home.
“Saturday everything was still normal,” says his granddaughter Yuko. ‘He died without his family any burden or anguish. We are heartbroken for this loss.’
Since april last year, it was Nonaka, the oldest man in the world, according to Guinness World Records. At that moment, he could himself still moving forward in his wheelchair. His favorite activity was to enjoy in a hot spring, where his family is already four generations, the hotel operates.
Nonaka survived his seven brothers and sisters, his wife and two of their five children.
The record holder of the oldest man ever was a Japanese man, Jiroemon Kimura. He died on June 12, 2013 at the age of 116 years and 54 days.
