AFM and DNB advocate international rules for cryptomunten

The measures taken to cryptomunten as the bitcoin to money laundering and terrorist financing, are consumers according to The Dutch central Bank (DNB) and the netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) is still not protected against fraud and scams.
According to the financial supervisors may trade in cryptogeld only less risky for better international rules.
They note that the popularity of crypto’s in the Netherlands since the boom period of over a year ago considerably reduced. However, the risks on such things as deception, fraud, cybercrime and manipulation is still “substantial”.
