An Australian physician that the deliberate medical neglect of refugees on Nauru by the Australian government brought out, the Blueprint for Free Speech received an international award for whistleblowers.

The Australian government doesn’t allow people who work on Nauru about their work to talk. Martin decided to quit his job to risk it by revealing that the Australian government the recommendations of doctors to be dangerous sick people to treat ignored. The revelations cost him his job, but led also that several asylum-seekers to Australia were flown for medical treatment.
