The Italian rider Fabio Aru will join the Tour of Italy, that on 11 may in Bologna. That has his team UAE Emirates Thursday to let you know.
Aru took in the past, all four part in the Giro, in which he a total of three rides won. In 2014, he picked up the bronze, the year after he finished as second. “The prospect of the Giro to ride motivates me enormously,” responds the 28-year-old rider. “I’m a climber and because I’m an Italian am, there is always that little bit more emotion.”
In 2018 Chris Froome to the Giro stage win to go. The Brit kept the Dutchman Tom Dumoulin and the Colombian Miguel Angel Lopez behind him. In 2019, the Giro, however, the main purpose of Dumoulin, while Froome wants to focus on the Tour. By the trail for climbers announced previously, even though Simon Yates, Miguel Ángel López, Bauke Mollema, Primoz Roglic and Egan Bernal with the necessary ambitions to start in Italy.
