The Canadian-American film director Jason Reitman occurs in the footsteps of his father, Ivan Reitman, and the director of the new ‘Ghostbusters’movie. That told the man to Entertainment Weekly.
Ivan Reitman was at the helm of the ‘Ghostbusters’movies that a stampede caused on cinema screens in 1984 and 1989. “This is a next chapter in the franchise, not a reboot,” said Jason Reitman to Entertainment Weekly. “This film will take place in the present tense, not in the 80’s.”
The film will be produced by father, Ivan and appears without any accidents in the summer of 2020 on the white cloth.
The 41-year-old Jason Reitman became especially known for his coming-of-agekomedie ‘Juno’ in 2007, which for four Oscars was nominated and, ultimately, the nomination for best screenplay silver plated. Then he made the BAFTA-and Golden Globe award-winning “Up in the Air’ and the less well-received comedy ‘Young Adult’. Last year, his latest vehicle, ‘The Front Runner’ – about the political rise and fall of the Democratic presidential candidate Gary Hart in 1988 -was premiered in the US.
