Kirsten Gillibrand, the current senator for the Democrats and one of the figureheads of the #MeToo-movement, is a candidate for the American presidential election of 2020. That announced them Tuesday night.
The 52-year-old politician is known as a fierce opposante of current president Donald Trump. She announced Tuesday in a television show on CBS that they have an ‘exploratory committee’ to establish that the necessary funds will need to collect to her candidacy for the presidential elections.
Gillibrand came out in January 2009 in the Senate, as a substitute for Hillary Clinton, when the minister of Foreign Affairs. She was last year in november, easily re-elected, but the state of New York is also known as very Democratic-minded.
Fight against sexual aggression
