PSV-attacker Hirving Lozano is Tuesday voted player of the year in the CONCACAF, the football federation for North and Central America and the Caribbean. The Mexican was for the third year in a row nominated.
Lozano trumps Kaylor Navas (Costa Rica/Real Madrid), Rubilio Castillo (Honduras/FC Motagua), Sebastian Giovinco (Italy/Toronto FC), Héctor Herrera (Mexico/FC Porto), Kemar Lawrence (Jamaica/New York Red Bulls), Jonathan Osorio (Canada/Toronto FC), Alan Pulido (Mexico/CD Guadalajara), Yendrick Ruiz (Costa Rica/CS Herediano), Carlos Vela (Mexico/Los Angeles FC,).
At the election, both players who are in North and Central America born players who now are active in the area chance to win the prestigious prize.
