Tom Boonen pulls for the second year in a row to the 24 Hours of Dubai

Tom Boonen will start Friday for the second year in a row at the 24 Hours of Dubai, the first race of the season in the 24h GT Series. The former world champion in cycling does that, together with Vincent Radermecker, Gilles Magnus and the Frenchman Stéphane Perrin in a Audi RS3 from AC Racing.

Last year Tom Boonen on his debut in Dubai the finish line. Together with Jimmy De Breucker, Mario Timmers and Rodrigue Gillion finished a Race when his BMW M235i as 47th on 91 rounds.

Dries Vanthoor and Frédéric Vervisch start again this year as contenders on the podium. Vanthoor is part of the WRT team, together with the German Christopher Mies, the Dutchman Michael Vergers and the Saudiër Mohammed Saud Fahad Al Saud. Vervisch is in the Car Collection Motorsport-team with the Dutchman Rik Breukers, and the Germans Christopher Haase and Dimitri Parhofer. Both teams appear in an Audi R8 LMS at the start.
