Still no new stadium, and so plays Tottenham at least until the end of February in Wembley

The new stadium of Tottenham Hotspur will be at the earliest in march. That made the team of the Red Devils, Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen and Mousa Dembélé Wednesday known.

The Spurs were hoping in the first instance, in september, in the new White Heart Lane to play, but safety concerns caused a few months delay. The match of Sunday against Manchester United was previously announced as the final duel at Wembley, but after an update of the contractors was the opening again delayed.

Strong man Daniel Levy apologized on the website of the Spurs to the fans. He promised the coming 2-3 weeks an update with more information.

By the postponement of the opening will be the league games of Tottenham against Watford (January 30), Newcastle (2 February) and Leicester (10 February) to be played at Wembley. That is also true for the heenwedstrijd of the eighth-finals in the Champions League, against Borussia Dortmund (February 13).

Tottenham plays since the beginning of the season 2016-2017 all its European games at Wembley. Since last season, moved – in anticipation of the new White Heart Lane – full to the national stadium in London.
