Aquaman and his trident reigns supreme in American box-office

The superheldenfilm “Aquaman” is still at number one in the North American box office, according to figures from Exhibitor Relations.

The movie with Jason Momoa in the title role has more than 51 million dollars raised in its second weekend, and nearly 189 million in total since its release.

On the second place of the stage: “Mary Poppins Returns” with Emily Blunt took 28 million dollars (almost 99 million in total).

“Bumblebee”, which is in an ‘autobot from the “Transformers”saga shines, is third with 20.5 million dollars (67 million total).

Fourth is the turn of the animated film “Spider-Man: New Generation”, with a new half black, half latino spider-man, which generated 18 million dollars.

Closes the top five with 11.7 million dollars: “The Mule”, directed by Clint Eastwood, who also for the camera. This film tells the story of a former soldier who drugs wore for a Mexican cartel.
