André Kuipers called accidental emergency from space

Astronaut André Kuipers during his stay in space, the American emergency number 911 will be called. Not because he is the police or an ambulance is needed, but accidentally, tells the astronaut in the radio program With the eye on tomorrow. Kuipers made a typo.
Calls from space is about 70 percent of the time as possible and goes through a satellite. “If you’re in the area, it is like you through Houston on the phone,” explained the astronaut.
“You write first, the 9 to go outside to make a call, and than 011 for the international line. But you’re on the float and you should be writing on a screen. So I made a mistake, I couldn’t do it. The next day I received an e-mail message to above: do you have 911 called? I had the 0 missed.”
