Man drives into group of pedestrians in Germany, at least four wounded

A car driver is during the night from old to new in Bottrop, in the west of Germany, drove into a group of pedestrians. It fell at least four people injured, some of them serious.

“The researchers go out to a targeted attack, which may be due to the xenophobic attitude of the driver, police said Tuesday in a press release.

There are clues about a mental illness in the 50-year-old man. The man had first tried a single pedestrian to drive shortly before midnight. That person could be themselves in safety. In the group of pedestrians where the man then rammed were Syrians and Afghans.

The man drove then to the city of Essen, where he again tried to drive on a group of people at a bus stop. The man was arrested and has admitted to the xenophobic.
