Fiftieth anniversary of the Woodstock Festival is celebrated on the original location

Next year is the fiftieth anniversary of the iconic Woodstock Festival, from 15 to 18 August 1969 took place in the American place Bethel. According to music site Consequence of Sound are various festivities planned for that anniversary to celebrate, including a Live Nation event at the original location of the festival.

The Bethel Woods Music and Culture Festival is scheduled for 16 to August 18, 2019 – 50 years after the weekend in which the original Woodstock took place, until today the most iconic music festival ever.

According to the website of the festival is the event “a cultural festival for all generations” with a “three days full of memorable experiences”, such as “live performances by prominent and emerging artists, multiple genres and decades, spanned”. There are also TED talks of “leading futurists and retro-tech experts”.
