In an accident with a helicopter in Mexico are two well-known politicians killed.
President Andrés Manuel López Obrador wrote Monday evening on Twitter that his thoughts are with the family of the governor of the state of Puebla, Martha Érika Alonso, and her husband, senator Rafael Moreno Valle.
The president said that it was his duty to the cause of the accident to investigate.
The helicopter crashed, according to the newspaper Milenio down in the municipality of Coronango, in the state of Puebla. It is unclear yet whether there are any other fatalities. Alonso is only since mid-december, governor. Her husband is a senator since January of 2017. Both belonged to the conservative party PAN.
