Pakistani former prime minister should cell in

A court in Islamabad has former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was sentenced to seven years in prison. He stood rightly for a corruptiedossier that resulted was from the leaked Panama Papers in 2016.

Sharif was three times prime minister, but he never could his tenure off. Last year he was deposed by the supreme court, because his name appeared in the Panama Papers related to offshore constructions. The corruption allegations revolve mainly to the financing of expensive homes in London.

Outside the courtroom were thousands of supporters of Sharifs Pakistan Muslim League party. Even before the ruling they were in the clinch with the police.

Sharif was immediately arrested.
