YALLINGUP – possibly The only white orang-utan in the world, on Borneo, in the wild. The approximately 7-year-old animal was last year discovered in a remote village.

Alba was neglected and locked in a small wooden cage. The extremely rare animal was taken to a reception centre in Borneo, where it could recuperate. The experts find it is now time that the animal is again in freedom can live.

Alba is this week released in the national park of Bukit Baka Bukit Raya in the Indonesian part of Borneo.
