Ajax coach Erik ten Hag is looking forward to the double confrontation with Real Madrid in the eighth finals of the Champions League. The Haaksbergenaar hopes his team against the defending champion a next step.

“Beautiful. Of the last five Champions League editions, Real was four times the winner and there we go us measure. That is a great challenge for us,” says Ten Hag on the website of Ajax.

“We have in the group stage against Bayern Munich played – also a renowned opponent – and that was a good test. Moments from those games we can bring. We have shown that we have high-level life span.”
