The Dutch authorities have a 23-year-old man held for the murder of an American student in Rotterdam. He should be in the same student residence as the victim.
The victim is Sarah Papenheim, a 21-year-old woman from Minnesota two years ago to Rotterdam was moved to study psychology at the Erasmus University. It was Wednesday found in her dorm room, with several stab wounds. She later died of her injuries.
The suspect, a 23-year-old man from Rotterdam, was the same day held at the railway station of Eindhoven. He would Papenheim have known and lived in the same student housing in Rotterdam. It is still unclear what the motive was for the stabbing. According to other students was Papenheim regularly by him harassed.
