Radio 2 and the Sabam for Culture will organise on Thursday 21 march 2019, a special edition of the Hall of fame. Radio 2 and the Sabam for Culture in this year singer/composer Guido Belcanto and singer/composer Henny Vrienten in The Hall of fame for a Life Full of Music. The music makers get this award for their great significance for and influence on the Flemish music. Last year fell that honor still to turn Axelle Red, liedschrijfster Mary Boduin and author-composer Stefaan Fernande.
Since October runs in the Sint-Pietersabdij in Ghent the exhibition “Long live the music! – 60 years of songs from the Low Countries” with a look back at 60 years of Dutch music in the Low Countries. A list that no doubt is possible: the neighbors have played a big role in our music history.
