No major changes in the route of the Tour of Flanders for next year. The edition of 2019 (7 april) is about as good as the same roads as this year’s edition. On one change: after the third climb of the day is next year, not the Edelare, but the Ladeuze in Maarkedal.
The Ladeuze in Maarkedal is a little climb of 1,000 feet with a maximum grade-ability of 16 percent.
For the third year in a row, starts in the heart of Antwerp, at 10.30 am. Afterwards, it goes through the seven Villages of the Round (SintNiklaas, Hamme-Zogge, Berlare, Aalst, Erpe-Mere, belgium, Herzele and Zottegem) to the Flemish Ardennes, where a key role is reserved for the duo Oude Kwaremont-Paterberg, with respectively three and two passages. Also the Wall of Geraardsbergen remains in the trail: eighth climb of the day, at slightly less than 100 kilometers from the finish.
In total, the Round in 2019 for the men 267 kilometers long. For the women, the event is 110 kilometres shorter and is the final or something stronger. They also get the Hill and a part of the cobblestones of the Steenbeekdries presented.
