Ajax can Wednesday night as the first Dutch club in 23 years group winners in the Champions League. To achieve that, the Locals, who are already sure of a place in the knock-out stages, in the Johan Cruijff ArenA win of Bayern Munich.
The came two times before for a Dutch club to the top ended up in the pool and it was both times Ajax. The Amsterdammers were both in the season between 1994 and 1995 (Champions League-profits, 1995/1996 (losing finalist) unbeaten group winners.
