Guillermo Arriaga
The Mexican Arriaga is primarily known for his collaboration with director Alejandro González Iñárritu, with whom he was in 2000 acclaimed film Amores Perros. In 2005 won Arriaga at Cannes and a Best Screenplay award for his screenplay for the film The Three Burials or Melquiades Estrada. A year later he won a Golden Globe and an Oscar for the film Babel, for which he wrote the script.
The 48th edition of IFFR will take place from 23 January to 3 February.
