“We (and with us a lot of fans) looked forward to the show and it speaks for itself that we extremely regret that we, the frontman of the legendary punk band next week, Friday, is not welcome”, let Luxor Live Friday know. “Therefore, it was decided to use a free for everyone musical tribute to Pete Shelley to organize the evening on which the concert was to take place.”

The show of the band next week Friday, has been cancelled. Anyone with a ticket for the concert can get a refund.

The Buzzcocks was founded in 1975 and was inspired by the Sex Pistols. The group has not the success and fame of the group around John Lydon. Their well-known songs are Ever Fallen in Love, Orgasm Addict and What Do I Get. Pete Shelley died at age 63 from the effects of a heart attack.
