Two American legervliegtuigen collide off the coast of Japan: six missing persons

Two aircraft of the U.s. navy collided during a supply-operation for the Japanese coast. That says a manager from the USA on Wednesday.

In a press release says the American army that the aircraft took off on the air base of Iwakuni, near Hiroshima, and that a rescue operation is underway. An investigation into the circumstances of the accident, which occurred during a regular scheduled training, is also started, what it sounds like.

The aircraft would be around 2 am local time, met when they were in the air tried to refuel. According to the Japanese ministry of Defense crashed the two planes into the sea, more than 300 kilometres from the coast.

According to American media would be in one plane, two people have been in the other five. One of them would have been saved, and in a stable condition, and six others are still missing.
