WASHINGTON – Justice in Canada, the international financial topvrouw (CFO) of Huawei was arrested in Vancouver. They threaten to be extradited to the United States where the company is suspected of violating the U.s. sanctions against Iran, reports the Canadian department of Justice.

Meng Wanzhou, who was one of the vice-presidents in the board of directors of the Chinese technology company and daughter of founder Ren Zhengfei, has been arrested on 1 december. The court decides Friday whether they are on bail, reports the ministry.
The authorities in the US try Huawei since 2016 for the right to receive, on suspicion of shipping of U.S. made products to Iran and other countries, where they act in contravention of U.s. export control laws and sanctions.
