The job is a dream come true for Kevin, as he writes in a picture of an Oscar. “For years, people ask me if I have the Oscars would be present if I would be asked. My answer was always the same: that is it for me as a comedian, the chances of my life would be and that it would happen when the time was ripe. I am so happy that I can tell you that the moment is finally there.”
Kevin is convinced that his mother, who in 2007 died, is proud of him. “I know that my mother is from ear to ear, laughs at this moment,” he writes in his post, where he has family, friends and fans thanks for the support during his career. “I find it incredible that I can be on the legendary list, come to stand with people that the Oscars have presented. I’m going to be sure to find something special.”
The 91st edition of the Academy Awards ceremony on 24 February at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
