“Call Me By Your Name” gets sequel

André Aciman, author of Call Me By Your Name”, has confirmed that a sequel to the popular novel. That writes the specialist filmwebsite Screenrant. It is also already clear that director Luca Guadagnino collaborates on a film version of the sequel.

The film adaptation of the novel came last year and was a worldwide success. The film was multiple times for an Oscar nominated, including best screenplay and best actor (Timothy Chalamet).

In “Call Me By Your Name”, which is set in the Italy of the years 1980, the teenager Elio Perlman (played by Timothy Chalamet), and the American university, Oliver (played by Armie Hammer) are in love with each other.
