Jürgen Klopp has of the English football association FA as a fine and a warning for his behavior after the winning hit in the derby between his club Liverpool and Everton (1-0). The manager accepts the punishment.
“It is very nice, I found it hard to avoid that I have a punishment would get,” smiled Klopp Tuesday at his press conference for the uitduel with Burnley in the Premier League on Wednesday. “If you have broken a rule, you’ll get a penalty. That is normal. It’s not a big crime, but if it was banned, would we, as managers, probably all the time in the field.”
The 51-year-old German sprinted Sunday after the bizarre hit of his striker Divock Origi in the sixth minute of injury time from the joy of the field and jumped goalkeeper Alisson Becker in the arms. He offered the press conference after the game and immediately apologized: “I didn’t disrespectful, but I could not manage.”
