It is almost hard to believe, but despite his young age (28) is singer Thomas Berge in the meantime already more than 15 years active in the (inter-)national music industry. A particularly successful course with trial and error, with their professional but also private high peaks and deep valleys.
After a significant period of musical reflection, Thomas, together with producer Gordon Groothedde, in the past year in silence on new material. That silence is now over because when NPO Radio 2 producer Bart Arens by chance Thomas’ new single ‘Let it Go’ got decided this to him, at the request of Berge, a week long as a mystery artist to turn.
“I run a week-long plate, without telling about who it goes to so you the song without prejudice, can discover. Listen to ‘Let it Go’ a few times and discover this catchy refrain,” says radio host Bart Arens.
“I found it crazy that Bart beyond my musical past wanted to look and just like the rest of the team, the leap took”, Thomas continues. “‘Let it Go’ is one of my most personal tracks I’ve ever made. In the first origin was the song based on my former relationship, but in the meantime, the story is lyrically evolved. This single is about a strong desire, when you know that you are both of the forbidden fruit to eat. Something that many people are bound to recognize,” said Thomas Berge.
